Midway-The Turning Of The Tide. The date was June 4th, 1942, the time 1010 hours and the place was 200 miles north, northwest of Midway Island. Above the Pacific ocean at 20,000 was the S. Dauntless Dive Bombers group that would trail a Japanese Destroyer right to the location of Admiral Nagumo's carrier fleet that was in the process of attacking the US Forces on Midway Island.

In short order the Dauntless aircraft would decimate the aircraft carrier force of Nagumo causing him to retreat from the attack and suffer defeat at the Battle Of Midway and become the turning point in the Pacific Campaign. Robert Taylor has created a panoramic masterpiece in air combat art of the S. Dauntless group shortly before their attack on Admiral Nagumo's carrier fleet.

This Battle of Midway print , has each print autographed by four of the Dauntless pilots that flew in the historic Midway attack, along with Robert Taylor. The lithograph is accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity. The lithograph has been stored flat in archival materials and not exposed to light. The lithograph is undamaged and in excellent condition.
