More than 20 years ago, my favorite the original Pierside Gallery introduced me to Michael Parkes' latest release, "Persepolis". One of two I immediately had framed and it continues to be proudly hung in my home. The other I secured in acid-free materials and stored in a protective environment.

Even though so much has passed, my appreciation of the skill for producing such a captivating piece of art hasnever diminished. Recently, I have begun to feel that my unframed "Persepolis"would be best served by being displayed in a home where others could appreciate and enjoy this piece as much as I have over the years. The colors have remained as rich and vivid as they were all those years ago (see photos).

Having never been framed, the integrity of the piece is excellent. "Persepolis" is a hand pulled stone lithograph which gives each piece a slight variation and makes each one unique. This is a lengthy and difficult process that Michael Parks has abandoned years ago. As time passes, their limited availability will likely increase his earlier lithographs valuations.

All photos presented are of the actual art you will receive. No stock pictures are used. With the intent to offer this exceptional art at an exceptional price, I researched online galleries and found 2 that actually list their price (most do not). Of all the 180 "Persepolis" lithographs made, I strongly believe there are less than a very few never-framed one savailable.

Instead of having to pay to remove art from an inappropriate frame and risking damage to the piece, you are able to choose a frame that is perfectly suited to your taste and home from the beginning.
